The program taking effect is subject to its passing in the budget. However, it has positive response from the opposition as well, as according to Nanaimo opposition MLA, Leonard Krog, the renovation credit is a positive step taken by the government for the elderly.

When we bought our last house, it was a classic house from the early 70's s. My wife and I realized that it needed a renovation inside and outside. We are really looking forward to buying our new furniture after the remodeling is done.
